Growing up with Autism : Talia

Talia felt alienated at school, thinking everything she did was wrong. Having a diagnosis of autism helped her but she developed anxiety, felt overwhelmed, had sensory overload and preferred to be alone rather than with people who didn’t understand her. Talia then developed clinical depression which didn’t allow her to see how things could get better or how she could succeed in life.

Talia’s job at Hollyoaks, where many adjustments were made to suit her needs, allowed her to flourish.
